Metro Plate Results after round 5: Please see attached.

Urgent Please read!!

Dear Parents and Friends in the BMX community, as you are all aware the State titles are less than 2 weeks away.

As with any BMX event we cannot run without officials. I am asking for your help and support in the running of this years State titles at Frankston. Each year it is becoming increasingly difficult to run events, with the number's of officials declining. This years Sates we have seven people that are working the 3 days of the event that don’t even have children riding, some that haven’t had anyone riding for over 3 years.  ( I know most will say that it is their choice).  We would all like to sit and enjoy the racing and watch our kids do their best at race meetings, but it is increasingly frustrating that the same small group of people are left to run BMX meetings.

I am asking for volunteers to help with this years event!

We need people to help in staging, to get riders directed to their lanes and calling age classes into staging.(None of these jobs are difficult and no degree is needed. If I can get 12 people to help over the 3 days this would mean that people would have to work no more than 1 moto  perhaps even just half a moto if there was enough support.

Volunteers will need to sign on ( this is just to keep a record of who has worked) and will receive a workers pack which includes a T-shirt and goodie bag.You will be feed and watered whilst working.

Please if you can spare a small amount of time over the weekend please contact me either by email at gsiinmaa@datacodsl.com or by phone on 03 5127 5744 home.

Thank you.
Denise Siinmaa
Race Director.
