2010 BMXV Interclub Challenge - What is the Interclub Challenge?

A serious fun day of racing to enable riders to race on the State Championships track. All racing is scored for points for your home club with the highest points earning club being awarded the Interclub Challenge Perpetual Trophy.
The Interclub is one of the few events on the BMX Victoria calendar where the emphasis is totally on fun and enjoyment. It is one of the few opportunities for all riders planning to compete in the State Titles to ride the host track in race conditions during the lead up to the event.

As such, the Interclub is an ideal time to show the Club colours, be it through Rider’s tops, Club banners, or other creative means. Remember the greater the percentage of your Club’s riders participating, the higher the chances your Club has of taking out the Club Championship.

This year, we would like to see all Clubs actively supporting the Interclub. It is a lot of fun and very affordable.

Entries Process
The enclosed entry forms are to be handed out to individual riders for them to complete and
return to your Club Secretary. All Victorian riders must enter via their Club They must complete an entry form and submit it to their Club with payment made out to their Club.

All Clubs must compile their members entries in a BEM event file.

It is expected that all clubs will appoint a Scoring Administrator (BEM operator) who will check all entries and enter them into the BEM event file. All Club Secretaries should contact Di Lacey at registrar@bmxv.com.au to have their copy of the BEM template for this event emailed back.

We have nominated the entry closing date for riders to lodge entries with their club as Sunday 10th October.  Club Secretaries must ensure that the completed BEM entries are emailed to Di on or before Wednesday 13th October, and entry fee mailed to BMXV as per instructions below.  Clubs who do not currently have a proficient BEM operator should contact Di immediately or sooner to arrange for assistance and training.  As Secretary for your Club, you are responsible for your entire Clubs’ rider and team entries, so please give it your full support.

Prior to placing the entries onto BEM please verify all details including classes / ages / gender / race numbers, for each rider. Please also confirm that the girls entering wish to compete in the girls’ and not the boys' classes. (Girls’ Cruiser classes will be run, subject to entries.)
