IMPORTANT MILESTONE: BMX VICTORIA HAS BROKEN THE 1000* MEMBER LEVEL

Achieving 1000 members is an important milestone for BMX Victoria. This goal has been achieved ahead of the schedule in our strategic plan. BMX Victoria has seen strong growth in the past year. Our growth rate has been significantly higher than our objective of  increasing membership by 10% per year.

Several initiatives have been implemented to grow grass roots and broaden our membership base:

BMX Victoria is addressing rider development to provide  progressive competition so every participant is able to achieve their potential. Improvements will be introduced into 2014 BMX Victoria Junior State Series.

Additionally BMX Victoria is currently undertaking a strategic review of coaching structure to provide coaching for all levels. With  Improved development pathways and racing structure, BMX Victoria has the potential to grow well beyond 1500+ members

*Note: this is a 1000+ competition licence holders (does not include Volunteers, Officials or Mildura BMX Club members, who are affiliated with SA)
